About Me:
Hello Everyone, My name is Christina and I am majoring in Family Studies/ Elementary education. My goals include both becoming a social worker for a childrens home as well as becoming a teacher. I would really love to teach the younger grades such as K-3. I love children and want to make a difference in someone's life. People always ask me why I want to teach and that I should prepare to be poor. My response is that even though we might not get paid in the physical sense (with money) I feel like the payback is great. If there weren't any teachers- there wouldn't be any doctors or lawyers. I want to pursue a career in something that I love. I would hate having to go force myself to go to work everyday just to get that paycheck.

    You should look into TEFL.com which is a site that can give you a lot of info about teaching English all over the world, and teaching in another country gives you the edge to go back home and get a really good job afterward.

    So, are you a teacher yet? I am currently between jobs and staying with my brother in Germany while I wait on the pension that I get from the last jobs that I had in Korea. The next step is to get my CELTA training in Thailand and maybe teach there for a year afterward.
