The teacher/student ratio must be an average. I taught in a public school (Christina School District)last year and we could only dream of having 16 students. I had 40! I taught 6th grade math. Six classes of 35-40 students..you can do the math. Insanity. I don't know a district that has a 15/1 ratio. I've worked as a substitute teacher in three districts (Colonial, Brandywine and Christina) and never have I been in a class of 15. Someone is fudging numbers somewhere.
